Sarah Gibson is a journalist based in New York City, where she produces shows at WNYC Radio. She graduated with Honors from Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. Her reporting won the annual Joan Konner Prize for Broadcast Journalism, and her stories have appeared on WBAI 99.5 FM, Alaska Public Media, National Native News, and in The Village Voice.

Prior to journalism, Sarah worked on educational and media programs for farmworker and food justice organizations in North Carolina. She earned a B.A from Brown University, where she studied History, Africana Studies, and Oral History. She grew up in Vermont.
